Marriage

 The sacrament of Matrimony signifies the union of Christ and the Church. It gives spouses the grace to love each other with the love with which Christ has loved his Church; the grace of the sacrament thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life (CCC 1661).

In-Parish/Local Weddings


Please contact Fr. Tom through the parish office at 651-565-3931 to begin preparing for this holy union. Preparation is required for all marriages at least six months before your desired wedding date.


In addition to completing a marriage preparation course through the parishes, couples are required to complete a pre-Cana retreat through the Diocese of Winona-Rochester. Options for pre-Cana retreats can be found on the diocese's website.

 




Out-of-Parish/Non- Local Weddings


St. Felix and St. Agnes Catholic Parishes welcome visitors utilizing area wedding reception venues who desire to have a Nuptial Mass or Blessing at St. Felix or St. Agnes. Please contact the parish office at 651-565-3931 at least six months before your desired wedding date to begin making preparations, and please see the below "Wedding Checklist" for a complete list of all additional requirements.
