This week, Fr. Tom reflects on Matthew 18:21–35, where Jesus teaches us about the power of forgiveness.

Peter asks Jesus how many times he should forgive someone who sins against him. Jesus’ answer reminds us that forgiveness is not something we simply offer once and then stop. Because God has forgiven us so generously, we are called to extend that same mercy and forgiveness to others.

Forgiveness can be difficult, especially when we have been deeply hurt. But Jesus invites us to let go of resentment and allow His mercy to transform our hearts.
